Franky: Do you wanna go somewhere?
Mini: I guess. I need to go.
Franky: Yeah. Where to?
(They start walking down the street)
Franky: What happened?
Mini: (talking about her mom) She said I have to give the baby up for adoption.
Franky: Why?
Mini: Because I'm 17... 'Cause I've got no money, and no job, 'cause my boyfriend hates me.
Franky: ...I think we should just go.
Mini: Where? ...I've got nothing!
Franky: ...I can help you do this. Look after her.
Mini: Maybe it wouldn't be like it was for you. You know, maybe she'd be happier.
Franky: (digging through her purse) I've brought something to show you... It's um, it's the only one I've got. I mean, my clothes are too small and she looks rough as shit. (She shows Mini a picture of her [Franky] as a baby with her mom) But she's my mum, and we're happy... We'll go places with your baby, Mini, and we'll take pictures and then she'll know, she'll KNOW how much you loved her... And that you didn't need anything or anyone else.
(They both smile and nod, then hug)
